Cooking Shows

This may sound boring, but I like cooking shows. I used to like the Food Channel. But they have so many stupid shows now I never hardly watch it. I remember the good old shows like Emeril Live, etc. Kind of like Sy Fy Channel. Too many stupid shows.
Now I catch a lot of cooking shows on PBS. This opens me up to some different meals. Even on a budget. Some different twists on things that you cook all the time and are getting tired of.
Many of these meals were originated by people who only had so many sources of food to deal with. A lot of them are sort of old home cooking that were prepared by people that did not have access to a lot of different things or the money to buy real expensive things.
Cook's Kitchen, Lidia's Home Cooking, Ming, Sara Molten, Eat, Drink Italy, Jacques Pepin, Modern Irish Cooking, Norwegian Cooking, Barbeque U, Chefs Life, etc.
Check them out. I think you may find some new dishes that will be available to you without breaking the budget. Sometimes just a little seasoning or cooking your food in a different way makes something new and delicious.
Watch these shows and find something new and fun.
