Well the verdict isn't out yet on the Avast Grime Fighter. I was able to get the desk top computer functioning again by restarting it in the safe mode. I was then ale to access the start menu. From there I was able to go to my computer. Left click c disk. Go to tools. Click properties. Hit the recover mode. Now that takes about an hour. Now the desk top is working fine.
At this juncture I am unaware of any positive functions Grime Fighter performed. But I have thirty days to get my money back.
