Sick And Tired

My family members and myself have been going through a period of being sick and tired. I normally feel decent and cannot stand just laying around. But for the last several months my energy is zapped. Just to ride a bike to work. Work a shift and ride home pretty much does me in. I have not stayed up late. Sleep about eight hours. Still no zip.
It has gotten to the point that I have a lot of nausea and diarhea. Ice cream and cereal give me heartburn. I have basically stopped drinking alchohol. When I do I really pay for it. Still smoking. Have to quit that soon. It is really dragging on me now. Some people I know have had good luck with the electric thing. Guess I need to try it.
My left leg and foot give me great pain a few times daily. I thought it was gout. Person I work with had a blood clot with the same pain. It could be so many things that it is confusing. Been taking Advil and Aleeve so long I have probably burnt a hole in my stomach. Taking vitamins and such. Has helped some. Of course it doesn't help that my feet get soaking wet every night. Everybody works pretty hard where I work as the job is demanding physically and mentally.Wouldn't think so at a grocery store.
And then we have HAL 9000. Its trade name has changed since 1968, but it is the same. It tries to micro-manage the workers time and shifts. It gives some of us these twelve hour shifts with a half hour break an hour after you start. Or it may give you a break eight hours into your shift. People with a shift from five till nine may get an hour break during the rush of dinner which totally eliminates their being there for the rush. Part time people do not want to work on weekends or nights. The whole thing is a mess. Upper management is convinced its great. I guess their boss says it's great. And whoever bought the bill of goods says it's great because they got ripped off on this multi-million dollar dud.
It is however killing off the full time workers (perhaps the main mission) so they can be replaced with government supplimented part time workers. HAL has polished off three of the eight full time workers and is wearing me down too. I will have to make a stand. Even if it means just working and going home and collapsing.
